First We Learn to live…
To ease the often difficult transition from sober living to an independent sober life, Living Now offers transitional support as part of our Living Now Mentoring program.
Statistically, only 18% of addicts & alcoholics “remain sober after five years” of completing treatment. By continuing to provide former Living Now family members with the same guidance, accountability, and support they receive in our homes, we aim to change that reality.
Our Mentoring Program
Living Now Mentoring offers one-on-one home visits, drug testing, goal setting, and continued recovery accountability. We’ll also provide financial and educational guidance as well as positive role modeling to ensure that our resident’s transition towards a successful sober life outside of a recovery home is more than just a broad unspecified idea, and instead, a manageable and goal oriented lifestyle change.
Weekly and long term goal setting assignments will provide tangible evidence of the progress that we, as our own biggest critics, tend to often overlook. Continued drug testing and medication monitoring offer that same sense of accountability that helped them get back on track to begin with. And our financial & career guidance will create a concrete strategy to help them better understand the financial freedoms, possibilities, and self-confidence that comes with making it on their own.
